Our COVID-19 Commitment

The world has dramatically changed over the past few months, but our commitment to excellent service for our customers remains unchanged. In addition to our continued commitment to the highest levels of safety, privacy and professionalism, Gozova has also adopted several new precautions during this time of social distancing.

General Health Inquiries Daily

Gozova crew members follow CDC-recommended work guidelines on every pickup. This includes starting the day with self-screening and confirmation into dispatch that they are not exhibiting any COVID-specific symptoms. Crew members experiencing symptoms are unauthorized to accept projects until the following:

Gozova does not allow a crew member with known close contact to a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 to return to work until the end of the 14 day self-quarantine period from the last date of exposure (with an exception granted for healthcare workers and critical infrastructure workers).

Gozova crew members have been trained and are regularly reminded of the importance of following extraordinary practices during these unprecedented times. However, we kindly ask our clients' cooperation in maintaining at least 6 feet of separation from the crew when they're completing the heavy physical labor part of the move, since wearing a mask during this time would not allow them to breathe properly. If such distancing is not feasible, other measures such as face-covering, hand hygiene, cough/respiratory etiquette, cleanliness/disinfecting and sanitation should be practiced by the client, ensuring the highest level of safety and precaution for both our customers and crew members.

Safety Gear

Gozova crew members follow CDC-recommended work guidelines on every pickup. Crew members are expected to wash or sanitize their hands before and after every project, and wear a facemask when applicable.

Customer Responsibility

Please let us know if you are considered high-risk (as defined in the Open Texas Report), so we ensure only drivers with the necessary gear are assigned to your pickup. If you are currently experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please let us know as soon as possible. We’re happy to reschedule at no additional cost.
